been taken from authorized drag races, rally special stages and rally recce sessions.
I disapprove any form of street car racing or unreasonable driving on civil roads.
Motorsport and tuning are fantastic passions, which don't be worth to be offended
by some persons who assume an illegal behaviour: those persons are dangerous from
themselves and for the rest of the persons on the road.
I invite anybody to drive moderately and observe the local road laws: motorsport
is for circuits and rally stages; tuning is for fairs, exhibitions, and magazines.

This is the official NCAP test where the Fiat Punto Mk2 got high marks, namely four stars, which is the highest vote rated in the category.
TV Spots
This TV spots were been on air in some countries:
- Autumn 2001 in Italy (MPEG, 2.2 mb). It exalts the safety of the whole Punto chassis.
- Volcano in England (MOV, 5.5 mb) This spot has been used to launch Fiat Punto Mk2 in summer 2001 in England.
- Punto Team in Spain 2001 (MOV, 2.4 mb) It evocates rallying with Lancia Delta Evoluzione, just followed by the road Punto team which morphs to a Punto Rally.
- Spot no.1 in Italy of Punto 2003 (MPEG, 2.3 mb, 30 seconds). It has been launched on national TV since the week before the official debut of Mk2 rev.B at the dealer network.
- Spot no.2 in Italy of Punto 2003 (MPEG, 2.3 mb, 30 seconds). Another version of the same spot of launch of Mk2 rev.B in Italy.

English drag races
These videos have been taken from some English drag races on the 1/4 of mile, where the Punto GT really goes fast versus an Astra, but the same car did nothing against an Impreza really tuned well.
The following files have been taken at Crail in Great Britain on November 24th 2002. More pictures and movies can be seen here. I thank Ross Thomson for all those valuable stuff: all the movies involve his fast Punto GT with 155 HPs!
- Punto GT 155 HP vs Nissan 200SX (MPEG, 2.9 mb) The 200sx beats the Punto GT quite easy. The 200sx owner was quite impressed by the Fiat car
- Punto GT 155 HP vs Civic Type R 1 (MPEG, 2.6 mb) Better start of the Punto GT, due to changing at 7000rpm, then the power range of the Civic makes the difference
- Punto GT 155 HP vs Civic Type R 2 (MPEG, 2.9 mb) Much Better start of the Punto GT, and it wins thanks to 155 HPs versus the 197 HPs of the Honda car
- Punto GT 155 HP vs Punto GT original (MPEG, 3 mb) The original one gets some advantage, then the more powerful one overtakes easily
- Punto GT 155 HP vs Punto GT original (MPEG, 2.1 mb) Again, apart a better start of the original one
- Punto GT 155 HP vs Mondeo ST220 (MPEG, 2.7 mb) The 220 HPs equipped Ford Mondeo V6 is beated four times by the Punto GT
- Punto GT 155 HP vs Astra 1.8 16v (MPEG, 2.9 mb) The Punto GT 155 HPs makes no story versus the Opel/Vauxhall Astra 1.8 16v.
Jose Antonio Caracci made me have a lot of video of his Punto GT engaging drag races against other local car and it seems that Jose's car performs quite well in almost all the scratches!

This video is really amazing: it's a burnout, which has been clipped for the production of the Playstation 2 and Windows PC Burnout 2.

These videoclips have been made in the Abandoned race track of Aiginio, 40km far from Thessaloniki. Agrafiotis made those ones with the poor Punto 75 SX. The car is going round 70-90 km/h at the time of capture.

V-Rally 3
These movies have been taken from V-Rally 3, the Eden Studios game for the Playstation 2. This game has the cars of the WRC championship and the Super1600 championship. The Super1600 cars are very detailed and complete: the Fiat Punto Rally is of course available. I freezed a full replay of a special stage driven by me. I admit I am not a very capable motorsport gamer, but I enjoyed myself and I tried to preserve the car too. Yes, V-Rally 3 takes into account any damage of the car you provoke during your drive!
