How to enhance Punto Sporting Mk1 performance?

The German Hörmann sells various final drive ratios for Punto Mk1. These ratios can be installed in all Punto's Mk1:
- 4.6
- 4.9
- 5.3
- 5.9
The original of Punto Mk1, such the Punto 75, is 3.7, so performance is quite different for accelerations. The installation of that different final ratio changes completely top speed of your car, which decreases almost proportionally with the augmentation of the final ratio. Expect your car is really faster in 0-100 km/h and it reaches blastly the top speed, which will be obtained with the longest gear (5th) at engine revving at limiter. Event fuel consumption increases a lot, so please evaluate clearly the adoption of that solution to change acceleration of your car.
Lowering the car
