I received these pictures during Christmas 2001, but its owner had never been written at that time, about the characteristics and the performance of the black montster, a Punto GT with an impressive complete setup.
In the meanwhile its owner, James Hans, contacted me again and gave me more details about the black UFO. Here it is a first assay of the modifications applied to the car:

  • Expanded cube capacity from 1,372 cmc to 1,623 cmc (87x68.2)
  • 1.6 turbopressure bar
  • more than 300 HPs (!!!!)
  • Enlarged throttle body (58mm)
  • Enlarged inlet valves (39.5mm)
  • Enlarged exhaust valves (36.5 mm)
  • Sodium valves
  • 87mm JE forges pistons
  • Lightened and polished rods
  • Lightened, balanced, toughriden crankshaft and flywheel
  • Garrett T3/4 ar60/48
  • Tubular manifold with T3 exhaust flange
  • Piper Rally camshaft (duration 280/258 lift 11.50/9.98 timing 30/70 59/19)
  • DTA P8Pro management, traction control, anti-lag system
  • Brembo 305x28 4 pot brakes
  • Leda Coilover suspension using 400lb springs
  • Mocal Oil Cooler

The car is currently developed and tuned by Powerontheroad.
