Punto Maggiora Road G.T.

A dive into the global market proud to announce our local tradition "Road G.T.". Spirited, high performance "competition" car, for everyday use: this was the driving force that led Maggiora to develop the Punto Road G.T. prototype.
The sporty look already found in the three door Punto was exploited by adding the style and technology typical of Rally cars to obtain a vehicle with superior features.

• Expansion of the track by 70 mm and car alignment lowered by 16 mm to allow Michelin 215/40 R16 tyres to be fitted on OZ alloy wheel rims.
• 16v engine "tuned up" with maximum power of 175 HPs
• Four wheel disk braking system with Brembo calipers
• Self-ventilating 305 mm front disks and 251 mm rear disks
• Restyling of the external sides and front modguards
• Restyling of the front and rear bumpers
• Addition of rear spoiler
• New Sparco front seats
• Renewed internal finishing and rear seat covers using new fabrics and coverings
• New front suspensions proportionate to performance

This is not the only Fiat Punto tuned by Maggiora. There is also a superb project of a Punto GT fitted with all the mechanics from Lancia Dedra Integrale. It had the 2L-engine turbocharged, but with 8 valves, not the more powerful engine from Delta Integrale. The car had also full wheel drive.
