Matt Knowles sent me some pictures of his car. It is a Punto Sporting Mk0, the first Punto Sporting, with the 1600 cmc 8 valves engine. He equipped his car with MIM wheels and 205/45 R16 tyres. The list of modifications is here:

Matt's lowering hyphotesis
Matt sent me some artworks on his upcoming modifications to his own car, mainly a lowering springs kit, and retouched some original pictures of the car in order to show himself and to us the end point. In the latter picture he even debadged and delocked the doors.
