Galfer Braking kit for Punto HGT

This experience has been reported by Julian Cann, who bought the Galfer braking kit, used by Fiat Espana for all the Fiat Punto HGT gr.A running the Super Copa Fiat Punto.

Julian says: "I have now fitted Compomotive MO 6 x15 et35 wheels, with Yokohama AVS tyres. These are the only wheels that will clear AP calipers".

Now pictures of how to fit brake kit:

Old disk and caliper removed as one piece,
but leave hydraulics hoses connected.

Clean hub and apply copper grease.

Fit brackets and then install disks
ensuring disks are clean from grease.

Then fix calipers to brackets.
When this has been done, then the aeroquip hose can be fitted, and old one disconnected.

The brake system then needs to be bled from air. I used Shell Motorsport DOT 5 brake fluid as used on Ferrari F1 cars.
