Lieuwe de Haan from Netherlands sent me some pictures of his own yellow Punto GT. Here it is the list of modifications he applied the car:

  • FSE fuel boost valve
  • front spoiler from a different brand car

The car has been tested at the workbench and sports 167 HPs and 263 Nm as max torque. Maximum speed is over 220 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration is 6.8 seconds. After the last March updated, Lieuwe says: "The car at 1 bar turbo pressure preserves the power of 170 HPs. You can boost it up till 1,6 bar, so it has even a lot more power. I don't know the 0-100 km/h times now, but it is faster then before and the top speed is also higher."

  • Pioneer amplifier PRS-X720 748 Watt
  • Zealum condensator 1 farad
  • Optima yellow top 60 Ah

In August 2003 Lieuwe made me have last car status and list of the last modifications:

  • Chip tuning replaced by management tuning
  • K&N 57i kit replaced with Pipercross with cold air feed
  • Sport camshaft 284/268
  • new body kit
  • Cadamuro front spoiler
  • Carcept rear bumperspoiler
  • Abarth sideskirts
  • removed the side bumpstrips

The car now has a lot of power that begins at 3500 rpm till 7850 rpm. The turbo will do the low rev from 1500 till 3500 rpm.
